KCSN Names Sky Daniels PD

Industry veteran SKY DANIELS has been named PD of CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY/NORTHRIDGE Triple A KCSN/LOS ANGELES.
KAREN KEARNS, KCSN GM, said, "I look forward to working with SKY as we continue to build the KCSN audience. We are fortunate to have a program director with his experience and knowledge of the LOS ANGELES market."
DANIELS stated, "I am grateful for the opportunity to help provide the LOS ANGELES market an exciting Adult Alternative format. I want to thank KAREN KEARNS and Dean WM. ROBERT BUCKER for their belief and support. KCSN has an audience reach of three million, and we want to provide a compelling and creative station for that metropolitan audience.
"I intend to bring my accrued experience from new media, marketing and programming to this role. The industry knows my passion for radio and the LOS ANGELES market, and will feel that passion emanate from 88.5 KSCN through several media platforms."
DANIELS, a format veteran who helped develop KFOG/SAN FRANCISCO, also has programmed stations such as WLUP/CHICAGO, KISW/SEATTLE, KMET/LOS ANGELES and others in his radio career. DANIELS has also been a major label executive at UNIVERSAL MUSIC and SONY MUSIC, as well as National VP/Entertainment at BEST BUY CORP and GM of trade publication RADIO & RECORDS. He most recently was VP/Promotion for FONTANA DISTRIBUTION.
