SHOW DOG-UNIVERSAL artist TRACE ADKINS’ 5,000 square foot home in BRENTWOOD, TN was destroyed by a fire on SATURDAY (6/4), which included all of his music awards and family possessions.
His wife, RHONDA ADKINS told THE TENNESSEAN, “You can replace things, not people. I’m just glad that my children are safe.”
The family, along with their children had lived in the home for 11 years and it is now being called a total loss. Two of the couple’s children were in the house when the fire started, along with houseguests who were looking after them. Everyone made it out safely, including the family pets.
The fire started in the garage, but the cause had not been determined as of the latest reports. Early reports thought the fire might have been started by a clothes dryer explosion but RHONDA said that was unlikely as the dryer had not been used in a week.
ADKINS was on a plane to ALASKA when the fire started and security met him at the gate to tell him the news.
