Harker: Will Radio's Destruction Be At Its Own Hands?

In the latest posting on its RADIOINSIGHTS blog, HARKER RESEARCH analysts GLENDA SHRADER BOS and RICHARD HARKER pose the question, "Will radio's destruction be at its own hands? New media is not radio’s greatest challenge. Radio’s greatest challenge is complacency and a growing buttoned-down attitude that stifles creativity."
They continue, "Radio has achieved its success through continuous often chaotic organic evolution and innovation. Radio seems to have forgotten that. Against an onslaught of new highly motivated challengers, it will not be new platforms, new delivery systems, or social networking that saves radio."
