Russ Parr's Film Launches

SYNDICATION ONE syndicated morning show host RUSS PARR has an independent film called “35 AND TICKING” which opens JUNE 10th at the AMC WASHINGTON SQUARE 12 theaters in INDIANAPOLIS. IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT is capitalizing on PARR’s popularity by extending the theatrical engagements of the movie in limited markets and expanding to other cities where movie goers are familiar with RUSS PARR.
The move is a romantic comedy which probes the thirty-somethings who entwined in life, love and marriage. Its cast includes NICOLE ARI PARKER, TAMALA JONES, KEVIN HART, KEITH ROBINSON, WENDY RAQUEL ROBINSON, MEAGAN GOOD, MIKE EPPS, CLIFTON POWELL, JILL MARIE JONES, KYM WHITLEY, LUENELL, DONDRE WHITFIELD, DARIUS McCARY and AARON D. SPEARS.
Athough best known as a funny, talented, syndicated morning show host, PARR is also an independent film maker who has written, produced and directed three films including “The Last Stand, “ “Something Like A Business” and “Love For Sale.” His newest film project, “35 And Ticking” reported grosses of $30,000 with $55,000 per average and was the third highest opening among new releases behind “Pirates Of The Carribean,” and WOODY ALLEN’s “Midnight In Paris.”
