ESPN Sports WMVP-A (ESPN 1000)/CHICAGO is building a street-level "showcase" studio at 190 North State Street adjacent to sister ABC O&O WLS-TV's studio, reports ESPN CHICAGO. The studio, sponsored by CADILLAC and allowing passers-by to watch broadcasts, is expected to be completed in SEPTEMBER.
"We are very pleased to partner with CADILLAC with what we know will be a long and wonderful partnership," ESPN 1000 VP/GM JOHN CRAVENS said. "When completed, the one-of-a-kind CADILLAC ESPN CHICAGO State Street Studio will be a great way to showcase the ESPN CHICAGO family to thousands of Chicagoans daily."
"This exciting partnership brings together two iconic brands -- ESPN and CADILLAC -- with a strong heritage, shared values and a very loyal fan and customer base," said CADILLAC Regional Director of Sales GEORGE GULLIVER. "Having the opportunity to display the CADILLAC brand on-site at the new facility and work closely with a first-class company like ESPN makes this relationship a natural fit with tremendous potential to grow both our brands."
