LIVE NATION's biggest shareholder is all for taking the concert giant private. THE NEW YORK POST reports LIBERTY MEDIA Chairman JOHN MALONE is pushing for it to happen.
"It would probably be nice for that company to be private for a period of time to settle down and consolidate operations," said MALONE, who was at the ALLEN & CO. media conference in SUN VALLEY, ID.
THE POST notes, "MALONE acknowledged several obstacles, including sorting out the finances and the wishes of other shareholders. LIBERTY owns 22% of LIVE NATION, but MALONE said he would love to own all of it."
