DIAL GLOBAL has officially opened its new, expanded broadcast center in DENVER, featuring eight new radio control rooms complementing its existing suite of 24, and an upgraded Network Operations Center. The DENVER operation is home to both DIAL GLOBAL’s 24-hour formats, as well as the distribution hub for its talk and music shows.
"This multi-million-dollar investment in our infrastructure is a strong signal of our commitment to both 24-hour formats, and all programming, here at DIAL GLOBAL," Pres./Programming KIRK STIRLAND said. "Our affiliates expect us to be there for them 24/7, with the best content possible, and the only way to do that is with continuous investment in technology."
The new studios will support the DIAL GLOBAL Local brand of 24-hour formats, built on the patented STORQ delivery system, which was relocated from OMAHA earlier this year. DIAL GLOBAL opened a broadcast operation with six studios in DALLAS in JANUARY, and continues to produce dayparts from its extensive studio complex in LOS ANGELES as well.
"DIAL GLOBAL is committed to the highest possible standards of delivery to our affiliates," noted EVP/Technology CONRAD TRAUTMANN, who's chief architect of the new facility’s creation. "Building these new studios is another example of how seriously we take this commitment."
