EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling FM translator W269BP/RICHMOND, IN to BREWER BROADCASTING CORP. for $36,000. The translator will rebroadcast Talk WHON-A/CENTERVILLE, IN.
In other filings with the FCC, HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is donating noncommercial KWDS/KETTLEMAN CITY, CA to CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA, INC. for $1 consideration.
NANCY L. ISSERLIS, receiver for Classic Hits KAZZ (K-HITS)/DEER PARK-SPOKANE, WA, is transferring the station back to the estate of EARLE T. KAZMARK, represented by JOSEPH NAPPI, JR. ISSERLIS tried to sell the stations after the deaths of EARLE and BARBARA KAZMARK, who held a judgment against the previous licensee, PROACTIVE COMMUNICATIONS, but failed to find a buyer for a near-fair-market-value price, she said. NAPPI plans to sell the station as soon as a suitable offer is received.
TALKNSPORTS, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for WKFL-A/BUSHNELL, FL after the station's transmitter site owner was foreclosed upon.
And TOWNSQUARE MEDIA, in addition to the previously-reported move of the newly-acquired MILLENIUM RADIO stations in NEW JERSEY into the company by OAKTREE CAPITAL, is reorganizing all of its various subsidiary companies to put all stations under the ownership of TOWNSQUARE RADIO, LLC and TOWNSQUARE RADIO HOLDINGS, LLC, which have been "inserted into the ownership chain of the licensee subsidiaries of TOWNSQUARE MEDIA BROADCASTING, LLC."
In closings, COMMUNITY WIRELESS OF PARK CITY, INC. closed on the sale of noncommercial KCWW/EVANSTON, WY to WESTERN INSPIRATIONAL BROADCASTERS, INC. for $20,000; and MAGNOLIA RADIO CORPORATION closed on the sale of the construction permit for KQMX/LOST HILLS, CA and KRPH/YARNELL, AZ to DEPORTES Y MUSICA COMUNICACIONES LLC for $950,000 and $2.75 million, respectively.
