A shocking story from NEW YORK, as RCA artist GAVIN DEGRAW was hospitalized after being attacked by a group on a MANHATTAN street. DEGRAW suffered a broken nose and facial cuts, and is currently listed in stable condition.

A representative for DEGRAW told REUTERS, "GAVIN DEGRAW was assaulted late SUNDAY night and taken to the emergency room at BELLEVUE HOSPITAL by ambulance. He is currently under observation."

The attack happened in the EAST VILLAGE neighborhood. It is not known at this time how many individuals were involved in the attack.

DEGRAW is currently touring with TRAIN and MAROON 5, with SARATOGA SPRINGS their next scheduled show TONIGHT (8/9).
