GILDAN ACTIVEWEAR, which was the official T-shirt of the 2011 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL, supplied 7,000, “Keep The Music Playing” tees, for NASHVILLE Mayor KARL DEAN’s first day on SUNDAY AUGUST 6th, at the BRIDGESTONE ARENA. The event provides free school supplies to METRO NASHVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOL students.
The company helped the 2011 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for “Largest T-shirt.” The infamous shirt weighed two tons, and took six weeks to make. The amount of fabric used could create 12,000 T-shirts.
GILDAN ACTIVEWEAR Vice President of Retail Sales, RANDY BROWN said, “Music education is so important to today's youth and we're thrilled to support the cause.”
