Former Steckline Communications Bookkeeper Indicted

The WICHITA EAGLE reports that former STECKLINE COMMUNICATIONS bookkeeper WILLIAM H. NOLAN has been indicted by a grand jury on one count of mail fraud and one count of wire fraud for allegedly embezzling over $2 million from the broadcasting company.
He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count.
The EAGLE reports that the indictment said NOLAN forged signatures on company checks to pay for $863,924 of credit card debt and used electronic funds transfers to pay for $1,180,088 more in credit card purchases.
