The FCC has proposed a $20,000 fine against EQUITY COMMUNICATIONS LP for failure to repaint and enclose the tower of Oldies WMID-A/ATLANTIC CITY. Agents said that they found the tower behind an unlocked gate and with chipped and faded paint. EQUITY told the Commission that it would fix the problems and install strobe lights, but a subsequent inspection found the problems persisting.
In addition, the Commission is proposing a $4,000 fine against CATHOLIC RADIO NETWORK, INC. for failure to power down Religion KPIO-A/LOVELAND, CO after sunset.
