CHARLES OSGOOD's "THE OSGOOD FILE" will continue to be distributed by DIAL GLOBAL under a new multi-year agreement. The feature, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year and came to DIAL GLOBAL with the WESTWOOD ONE merger/acquisition, is currently heard four times daily on more than 350 radio stations nationwide, including in all top 25 markets.
"My producer RAY BASSETT and I are delighted to continue our regular morning radio visits with millions of Americans from coast to coast, then riding along with them as they drive to work," said OSGOOD. "I consider myself lucky to do what I love while working with some of the best people in the business at CBS NEWS and DIAL GLOBAL."
DIAL GLOBAL co-CEOs SPENCER BROWN, DAVID LANDAU and KEN WILLIAMS issued a joint statement saying, "CHARLES OSGOOD is a true media icon and it is our privilege to deliver his legendary voice to millions of radio listeners each day. More than a valuable asset to DIAL GLOBAL's advertisers and affiliates, CHARLES OSGOOD is an asset to American journalism and we are proud to continue our partnership."
