Tennessee Engineer Pleads Guilty In Fraud Case

Former SAGA COMMUNICATIONS-FIVE STAR RADIO GROUP/CLARKSVILLE, TN Chief Engineer J.C. MORROW pleaded guilty in, U.S. District Court last TUESDAY of defrauding the company of $173,473.77, according to the CLARKSVILLE LEAF CHRONICLE.
MORROW was charged with mail fraud for submitting false invoices from a building contractor and equipment vendor, from which he also received commissions for equipment ordered without his employer's knowledge.
MORROW faces up to 21 months with three years of supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and restitution when he is sentenced on FEBRUARY 24th.
