CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WHJY (94HJY)/PROVIDENCE has extended PAUL FULLER and AL MILUKAS from the "PAUL AND AL MORNING SHOW" for an additional four years, effective immediately. PAUL AND AL's new contract will extend through 2015, which will mark their 25th anniversary with the station.
"PAUL AND AL have set the standard for excellence in mornings in PROVIDENCE for more than 21 years," said SVP/Programming CLAY HUNNICUTT. "Their community leadership and ratings success are unparalleled, and we’re very excited that this new agreement will help us all celebrate their 25th anniversary together. I can’t imagine 94 HJY without PAUL AND AL and we're all glad we don't have to."
"When PAUL AND AL first came to PROVIDENCE, many doubted that the two goofy dudes from MOBILE, ALABAMA, would make it. Over 20 years later they have led 94 HJY to our best ratings ever and have been inducted into the RHODE ISLAND RADIO HALL OF FAME,” said Pres./Market Mgr. MARY MENNA. "They have become as synonymous with RHODE ISLAND as the quahog, coffee milk, and NARRAGANSETT BEER. We are elated to have them for another four years."
