"Sweet Love" is the upcoming single by Chris Brown. It was produced by Polow da Don and Jason "JP" Perry for his upcoming fifth studio album, Fortune (2012). The song will be released digitally on April 17, 2012, as the second single from the album. Musically, "Sweet Love" is a slow jam R&B ballad, which contains elements of electronic music. It revolves around Brown asking his lady to get naked so they can make sweet love."Sweet Love" has so far charted at number 90 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
"Sweet Love" garnered mixed reviews from music critics. Nadeska Alexis of MTV's Rapfix commented that "Breezy keeps the sexiness at an all time high throughout the tune with explicit lyrics that, in theory, could easily win any girl over." Contessa Gayles of AOL's The Boombox described "Sweet Love" as "baby making music", while Mark Edward Nero of About.com viewed it as a "a straight-up sex jam". Amy Sciarretto of PopCrush commented that "it's that sexy of an R&B jam" that could "easily woo Rihanna back." A writer for Fuse TV described "Sweet Love" as a "sexy" song that is "basically auditory pornography". Joseph Patterson of MTV UK called it "classic Chris Brown and is definitely one for the lovers."
