PVRIS

PVRIS recently released “Hallucinations,” their official single and second new tune in as many months. Vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Lynn Gunn started the song in Los Angeles last year during a co-writing session with Marshmello and Amy Allen and later finished it at a separate session in Nashville with JT Daly. Gunn especially found a kindred spirit in Daly, the front-man for Paper Route who’s also co-written songs for K.Flay; in fact, he’s become her go-to musical collaborator for this current round of recording. PVRIS have also announced that they will be releasing an EP on October 25th through Warner Records. Following the release of their EP, a full-length album is set for release in early 2020.
When asked about the upcoming EP and album, the group shared, “They capture two energies that I think will be pretty present,” PVRIS member Lynn Gunn said. “We like to bounce around, do one of everything and keep it fun and exciting. One the EP, I’d say there’s a good mix. There’s one more ballad-y song, there’s very classic brooding dark PVRIS, and there’s one that’s very fun and kinda like a fucked up weird summer jam.”
This trio was formed in Lowell, Massachusetts, by members Lynn Gunn, Alex Babinski, and Brian MacDonald. They have put out two full length albums; “White Noise” (2014) and “All We Know Of Know of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell” (2017).
Lynn has also developed an independent platform and fan base, serving as a model for young women and an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ issues by collaborating with the Tegan And Sara Foundation, GLAAD, and The Ally Coalition, among others.
PRVIS has previously toured arenas with Muse, Fall Out Boy, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and played Coachella, Reading & Leeds and Lollapalooza festivals. They just wrapped up a U.S. tour with shows in California, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, Massachusetts and New York in September. Next up, they will be heading to the UK in February 2020 for a string of intimate shows. They will play in Glasgow, Manchester, and London.
