The Unlikely Candidates

The Unlikely Candidates recently released their new single "High Low" via The Orchard. It was recorded in the closet of lead singer Kyle Morris' Texas apartment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The track is the follow-up to the #1 Alternative single "Novocaine."
Kyle said, “'High Low' is about change, isolation, and watching the world spin around you from your seat on the couch. The song began as an ode to tour life and growing up to see your friends fade away into new lives, cities, families, and jobs, but a few short weeks after writing it, the song took on new meaning as an anthem of longing for human connection and the shared experience of loneliness that brings us together even though we are far apart."
The Unlikely Candidates is made up Kyle Morris (vocals), Brenton Carney (lead guitar), Cole Male (guitar), Jared Hornbeek (bass) and Kevin Goddard (drums). Formed in Fort Worth, Texas in 2008, they have released three EP's since 2013. Their music has been featured in the Season 4 trailer of HULU's Veronica Mars, Ray Donovan, ABC's American Idol, FOX's The Four, NFL's Super Bowl 2018 playoffs, ESPN's 2018 Indy 500 programming, Fox Sports and more.
The Unlikely Candidates recently launched their weekly live stream, "Flatten The Humpday," which airs every Wednesday at 3p (CT). Fans can tune in on the band's Facebook and Instagram live every week for live performances, Q&A's, special guests and more.
