“love race” is the newest song from Machine Gun Kelly out now via Bad Boy/Interscope Records. It features Kellin Quinn, the lead singer of Sleeping With Sirens and it was produced and co-written by Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker with Jared Gutstadt and Jeff Peters, the latter two of whom are known collectively as Audio Chateau. Also credited as a writer on “Love Race” is Matthew Thiessen, the lead singer of Relient K.
Colson Baker better known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) has released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. He released his debut studio album, Lace Up, in 2012. His second and third albums, General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017). His fourth album, “Hotel Diablo” (2019) saw exploration of rap rock. Machine Gun Kelly’s fifth album, Tickets To My Downfall in 2020 marked a complete departure from hip hop and entry into pop punk with multiple #1 Alternative Radio singles “bloody valentine” & “my ex’s best friend. Machine Gun Kelly was the #1 most played artist on Mediabase in 2021.
Recently Machine Gun Kelly announced his much anticipated Tickets To My Downfall Tour in support of his chart-topping album of the same name. The Tickets to My Downfall Tour is set to kick off September 9th in Minneapolis, with current routing showing the final date as December 18th in MGK’s hometown of Cleveland.
