Destroy Boys

Sacramento's Destroy Boys have a new single "Shadow (I'm Breaking Down)" via Hopeless. The new song is from their upcoming fourth full length album. Destroy Boys worked with Carlos De La Garza (Bad Religion, Paramore, The Linda Lindas) on a collection of recordings that dig way back to embrace everything from garage punk to 90’s college indie rock. "Shadow (I'm Breaking Down)" arrives on on the heels of 2023 appearances at Coachella, Slam Dunk, and an arena tour supporting Blink 182 and Turnstile.
The band says, "Shadow is about compassionately confronting the parts of yourself that you don’t like, or do like but might be toxic. It’s an introspective piece, taking notes from various spiritual beliefs and psychological research."
Destroy Boys started in Sacramento in 2015 by Alexia Roditis (lead vocals) and Violet Mayugba (guitar, backing vocals) while they were still in high-school. The current lineup also includes Narsai Malik (drums) and David Orozco (bass).
The band has released three full length albums: Sorry, Mom (2016); Make Room (2018) and Open Mouth, Open Heart (2021).
Destroy Boys will join Pierce The Veil on tour beginning November 4th in Sacramento. Find the tour dates here.
