The War On Drugs
Jul 6, 2014

Lost In The Dream is the third studio album by the band The War On Drugs, released on March 18th via Secretly Canadian. The recording session, which took place over a two year period, was characterized by numerous rewrites. The album's lyrical theme were influenced by the loneliness and depression Granduciel faced after he finished touring.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and formed in 2005, The War On Drugs consists of Adam Granduciel (vocals & guitar), David Hartley (bass & guitar), Robbie Bennett (keyboards & guitar) and Patrick Berkery (drums). Founded by close collaborators Granduciel and Kurt Vile, The War on Drugs released their debut studio album, Wagonwheel Blues, in 2008. Vile departed shortly after its release to focus on his solo career. Their second studio album Slave Ambient was released in 2011 to critical acclaim and extensive touring.
Keeping in the spirit of not slowing down, The War On Drugs have announced a string of new UK and EU dates, further extending their touring schedule into the fall.
