The band, DREAMERS recently announced that they signed with the Los Angeles based label, Fairfax Recordings via Hollywood Records. They are currently working with the label founder and producer, Kevin Augunas on their debut album, due for release in early 2016. Their single, "Wolves (You Got Me)," immediately caught the ears of SiriusXM's Alt Nation last fall. It was from the band's self-released and self-titled 2014 debut 2014 EP.
Augunas, who has produced records from Talk In Tongues, Nick Waterhouse, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes, and Cold War Kids says, "We're really excited to be working with such a great young talented band and cannot wait to share all the incredible music they're creating. The future is bright for DREAMERS."
The three-piece formerly known as Motive, changed their name to DREAMERS, transitioned their sound from grunge to 70s punk/meets power pop and relocated from Seattle to Brooklyn. DREAMERS is comprised of Nick Wold (vocals & guitar), Chris Bagamery (drums & backup vocals), and Nelson (bass & backup vocals).
DREAMERS has already shared the stage with such notable artists as The Vaccines, The 1975, Bear Hands, Walk The Moon, and Stone Temple Pilots. In July, DREAMERS will be on tour with Young Rising Suns and Hunter Hunted.
