Hippo Campus

"Boyish" is the latest single from the young Minnesota band, Hippo Campus. It will be on their forthcoming debut full-length album entitled "landmark" due out on February 24th via Grand Jury Records/RED.
When asked about "Boyish", the band explains, "There's a moment in growing up when it becomes clear that the road you walk is your own to cultivate. The melody was one of the oldest we had. The words deal with ghosts of our past selves. A glance in the rear view at children dealing with the fallout of divorce. The production however looks forward to new horizons. New paths to travel and landmarks to establish."
Hippo Campus is made up of members Jake Luppen, Nathan Stocker, Zach Sutton and Whistler Allen. The band began at the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in Minnesota. They have performed at South By Southwest, Lollapalooza, Red Rocks, Conan, and Reading and Leeds.
The band wrapped up October U.S. tour dates with Saint Motel.
