Centricity Music's modern pop band, Unspoken, is gearing up for their first full album release on April 1st. In conjunction with the self-titled project, the group is scheduled to embark on a week-long radio promo tour. Unspoken will be interviewed and perform live acoustic sets at such outlets as KLOVE, WKAW/Cincinnati, OH, WJIE/Louisville, KY, WBGL/New Life Network, WCSG/Grand Rapids, MI, and The Fish/Cleveland, OH. Unspoken will also tape appearances with LeSea Broadcasting's Harvest Show and Live From Studio B.
"'Start A Fire," Unspoken's follow up to the top 5 singles, "Who You Are" and "Lift My Life Up," will be going for adds on April 11th. A video for the song was shot at different locations around the country, while the band was on the KLOVE Listener Appreciation Tour earlier this month. The group would get up early in the morning, hop in a van and stop at any location that looked promising to Unspoken and the video director, Max Hsu. Video locations include stops at Baton Rouge, LA, San Antonio, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Denver, CO and Kansas City, KS. The video will be released mid-April.
"This video was such a leap of faith for all of us," says Steve Ford, Vice President of Marketing, Centricity Music. "Normally, you have a shot list and have scouted locations, but on this shoot it was hours of looking at Google Maps in a van on the way to the next city and hoping it all worked out. The video team was always a step ahead and found amazing locations. Unspoken kept up the energy through long days, hunger, cold, and 40 mile-an-hour winds. The video is everything we wanted it to be."
