Andrew Peterson and The Rabbit Room will host a creative conference this summer in Nashville called Hutchmoot 2010. The event will take place at Church of the Redeemer over the weekend of August 6-8. The sold-out conference will spotlight music, conversation and a series of discussions centered on the telling of great stories in song, literature and film. Hutchmoot 2010 will kick-off Friday night with a CD release concert by Andrew Peterson for his new project, "Counting Stars." The Rabbit Room contributors Ron Block, Pete Peterson, Jason Gray, Eric Peters and S.D. Smith will conduct the interactive sessions.
Peterson created The Rabbit Room in 2007 after a trip to London where he visited the original Rabbit Room in an Oxford pub, where C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and other Christian writers, gathered to nourish friendships as they celebrated one another's gifts. His website has grown into one of the more eclectic places for original thoughts, lively conversation and a place for fans to help sustain the ministry of these talented individuals by buying their product.
