Sony Creative Software
has launched an official remix contest featuring "Love Won't Leave Me Alone," the current single release from Grammy and Dove Award winner John Schlitt's The Greater Cause CD. Fans of music remixes are encouraged to embellish the song using Sony's ACIDxpress software or any other software and sounds and samples from the Sony Loop Library. All entries are due by February 28.
Schlitt is excited that the song, which was written by the CD's producer Dan Needham, along with Dove Award winner and 2008 BMI Songwriter of the Year Ed Cash, was chosen by Sony executives to be part of the competition.
"This kind of opportunity is hard to come by and I praise God for it," Schlitt says. "I feel very honored that Sony has chosen to feature my song."
Prizes for the remix contest include Acid Pro 7 software, SpectraLayers Pro software, five Standard Collection Loop libraries and John Schlitt merchandise. For more information about the remix contest, visit 'http://www.acidplanet.com/contests/schlitt/
