CMT-TV will premiere its new eight-part scripted series, "Sun Records," on Thursday, February 23rd at 10p (ET). The series, formerly known as "Million Dollar Quartet," follows the historic Million Dollar Quartet recording sessions of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins on December 4th in 1956 at the Sun Records Studios in Memphis.
The series follows the Sun Records founder, Sam Phillips, who is played by actor Chad Michael Murray, and the artists through their quick rise to fame. Additional actors include Billy Gardell, who will play Presley and Arnold's manager Col. Tom Parker; Drake Milligan playing Presley; Kevin Fonteyne playing Cash; Christian Lees playing Lewis; and more. For more information, visit www.CMT.com.
