Billy Ray Cyrus
Jul 12, 2010
Country artist Billy Ray Cyrus has formed a new Southern Rock group called Brother Clyde. Cyrus is the front-man for the group and produced their new self-titled album, also lending a hand in co-writing some of the songs.
Cyrus said, "My emotions are so revealed on this record. When you compare the image of Billy Ray Cyrus these last five years compared to what I was living, this gives you a glimpse of the man behind the curtain. It wasn't the fairytale. This is real."
Some of the tracks on the album include a cover of Johnny Cash's "Walk The Line" and a duet with Dolly Parton on a song called "The Right Time." The band's first single, "Lately," is out now on iTunes. The full album will be available at retailers on August 10th on Buena Vista Records/Fontana.
