Average Joe's Entertainment artist Colt Ford recently debuted the music video for his single "Chicken and Biscuits" on www.cmt.com. The release of the vampire-themed video corresponds with the premiere of the film "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," the third installment in Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" series. Colt is a big fan of the series and thought his video would be the perfect medium to showcase a spoof of the film.
"'Twilight' is such a great love story, and 'Chicken and Biscuits' is a love song about my wife and all country girls. I think the concept of this video is really funny. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do," said Colt.
The cast of Jersey Shore has also done a spoof of the films, "The Jersey Shore Saga: Friggin' Twilight," and a skit featuring Big Machine star Taylor Swift recently poked fun of the series on "Saturday Night Live."
The video, directed by Jason "Potsy" Ponciroli and produced by Ryan Zacarias, was shot in Nolensville, Tennessee and features actors and actresses portraying Bella, Jacob, and the entire Cullen clan. Colt stars as the main vampire Edward, only this time his craving for blood is replaced with an insatiable hunger for Bella's southern fried chicken and biscuits.
