Kevin Skinner

Reigning NBC-TV show "America's Got Talent" winner Kevin Skinner is gearing up to release his debut album, "Long Ride." Skinner first auditioned for the reality show at Harrah's in Metropolis, Illinois, just across the river from his Kentucky home. In 2009, he went from unemployed to winner of the show.
After he sang his first song on America's Got Talent, which was a cover of Garth Brooks' "If Tomorrow Never Comes", judge Piers Morgan said, "That was one of the most emotional, powerful performances I've seen in a long time." Kevin went on to win the competition and $1-million.
Skinner first picked up the guitar at age 12 and stuck with it ever since. He worked days on farms, mowed lawns and caught chickens, and worked nights playing music. He formed a band, Skinner and Friends, and sang at Hill's Bar-B-Que in Mayfield and Wrangler's Campground at Land between the Lakes. He also drove the two hours to Nashville to sing at open mic nights.
Since winning the show, Kevin wants to give more of his music to fans with the download release of his debut album "Long Ride." Check out more about Kevin Skinner, including samples and ordering information for the album, at www.kevinskinnertheofficialsite.com.
