MCA Nashville will be working Taylor Swift’s “Betty” to Country radio, with an impact date of Monday, August 17th. Swift began her career in the Country format and scored numerous hits before transitioning to Pop. Her last Top 10 Country hit was “Red” in 2013.
“Betty” is from Swift’s recently-released eighth studio album, “Folklore.” Credited to writers Swift and William Bowery, it was produced by Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff and Swift. As the superstar shared on YouTube prior to the album's release, "Betty" is one-third of the album’s “teenage love triangle" trio of songs, along with lead Pop single "Cardigan" and album cut "August."
