Taylor Swift
Nov 1, 2010
Big Machine star Taylor Swift will be among the celebrities immortalized in the wax museum, Madame Tussauds New York. Known for housing life-like replicas of today's biggest celebrities, like Carrie Underwood, Barack Obama, Madonna and Princess Diana, the museum is currently celebrating a decade in the Big Apple.
"What better way to keep our ten-year anniversary celebration going than to unveil a figure of one of today's biggest superstars -- Taylor Swift," said Janine DiGioacchino, Divisional Director of Midway Attractions. "Taylor's amazing accomplishments as an artist, along with her generous spirit and sparkling personality, make her a wonderful new addition to the Madame Tussauds New York family."
Taylor is adorned in a black and silver dress, made by designer Jenny Packham and personally donated by Taylor. Her statue was unveiled on October 27th.
