In a Christmas Day post, Carrie Underwood revealed that she has a new gospel hymns album, titled “My Savior,” coming in the spring. In an Instagram video, Underwood told fans that while working on her Christmas album, “My Gift,” last year, “I felt like my soul was in such a great place. I wanted to keep making music like the music off of ‘My Gift,’ so … I went ahead and made some more music.”
She also said the tracks on the album are songs she grew up singing, and the project is something her fans have been requesting for a while. Underwood revealed that the album will be released “just in time for Easter,” which falls on Sunday, April 4th this year. “It’s just been such a blessing to make music like this, music that is near and dear to my heart,” Underwood added.
