Show Dog Nashville’s Toby Keith hosted his annual “Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic" May 20th-21st in Oklahoma City and Norman, OK. The event raised $1.38 million, the third highest total ever. The top drawing live auction item was a golf getaway for eight to the Diamante Cabo San Lucas resort, which earned a bid of $82,000. In the silent auction, a stay at Lake of the Ozarks drew the top bid of $4,500.

Launched in 2004, the Golf Classic has maintained its two-day format with a gala dinner and auction the first night (headlined by John Conlee this year) followed by a golf tournament the following day. The more than $16 million raised to date has funded the development, building and eventual operation of OK Kids Korral, which is now in its eighth year welcoming and comforting children with cancer and their families.
