Chrissy Metz

Actress and former EMI Records Nashville recording artist Chrissy Metz will be releasing a children's lullaby album, "Prayed For This Day," on Friday (2/10). It's a companion to her children's book, "When I Talk To God, I Talk About You," releasing on February 14th via Penguin/Random House. The album features Country trio Runaway June on one track, as well as songs written by Metz, Bradley Collins, Phil Barton, Liz Rose and Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne. The book was co-written by Metz and songwriter/producer Collins.

Metz is best known for her television role on NBC's "This Is Us" and a starring role in the faith-based film, "Breakthrough." She will promote her new children's projects with appearances next week on the "TODAY" show (2/13) and "The Kelly Clarkson Show" (2/14).
