A Dolly Parton museum is set to open at the Country superstar's Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, TN in 2024. According to a video on the park's Facebook page, the museum will be "the crown jewel and anchor" of a new "Dolly Parton Experience" attraction. The museum will house family keepsakes, career mementos and gowns, costumes, accessories and other wardrobe pieces from her collection, as well as multimedia exhibits. 

Dollywood's VP/Marketing and Public Relations Pete Owens told the Knoxville News Sentinel that the museum will be similar to the popular immersive Vincent Van Gogh experience, which has art and animation projected on the walls. Because the projections can be changed, the museum has the ability to easily rotate exhibits, Owens said.
