The last music video of Glen Campbell's professional recording career has been released. The video is for the song "A Better Place" off of Campbell's final studio album, "Ghost On The Canvas."
The farewell video showcases Campbell reflecting on his career, and looking back on his life. It also features an appearance from Joshua Homme of rock group, "Queens Of The Stone Age." In the video, Glen recognizes his wife by sending her a special message. "My love goes out to Kim, my amazing grace. You've been by my side through these changing times, and it means the world to me," he says. The video can be viewed on YouTube at http://youtu.be/JMh78jF-fMQ.
"Ghost On The Canvas" has been met by amazing reviews around the world. The eight-time GRAMMY winning icon has received high praise, accolades and reviews from USA Today that said The Rhinestone Cowboy's record is "a museum-quality masterpiece." Rolling Stone reviewed the album and said "The years have added an edge to his singing. Dude's definitely not going out softly." The Boston Globe called "Ghost On The Canvas" gorgeous and charming while Pitchfork said "Campbell conveys a certain nostalgia for that defining sound of his prime...
