Mar 8, 2010
MCA/Nashville's Vince Gill will perform at guitar legend Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago on June 26th. The one day festival will also feature Buddy Guy, Sheryl Crow, B.B. King, Steve Winwood, ZZ Top, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, The Allman Brothers, Keb Mo and many more. The audience can expect surprise guests and impromptu jams as well.
"The Crossroads Festival is the realization of a dream for me, to gather a group of amazingly talented musicians and have them play on one stage. The Crossroads performers are all musicians I admire and respect," said Clapton.
All the performances are for the benefit of a good cause, The Crossroads Centre in Antigua. Founded by Eric Clapton in 1997, Crossroads Centre was created to provide quality, affordable treatment for alcohol and other drug dependencies.
Tickets for Crossroads Guitar Festival are on sale at www.ticketmaster.com or at 800-745-3000. Tickets are priced at $100 plus parking and applicable fees. Gates open at 10a (CT) for the festival.
