The Journey Home Project

William Morris Endeavor's Greg Oswald was recently presented with a very special American flag. The flag had been purchased by Oswald to benefit Charlie Daniels' Journey Home Project after having flown over Special Forces base Camp Montrond in Bagram, Afghanistan. In December, the flag was presented to Oswald in Nashville during a special ceremony honoring his generous purchase to benefit the not-for-profit organization founded by Daniels to assist Veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
"It is because of great Americans like Greg Oswald that it's possible for The Journey Home Project to offer guidance and support to the men and women who have served so courageously for our country," explained The Journey Home Project co-founder and long-time manager for Charlie Daniels, David Corlew.
The benefit where Oswald purchased the flag was held this past September and featured a silent auction, dinner, a live auction, and entertainment from celebrity guests. A live Skype broadcast with the troops at Camp Montrond allowed attendees to witness the raising of the flag over the base.
