Country great Don Williams is returning to the road again for a few shows this fall, three years after he said goodbye on his "Farewell Tour of the World" in 2006. His last show was in Memphis on November 21, 2006. This is a milestone year for Don, as he will also be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Don will be making several tour stops during the month of October, in cities like Durant, OK, Miami, OK, Kansas City, MO, Branson, Nashville, Ashland, KY, Hiawassee, GA, Dallas and Biloxi. He'll be playing two shows at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium, and his Country Music Hall of Fame induction will be held October 24th.
Some of Don's biggest hits include "Tulsa Time" (which was later covered by Eric Clapton), "I Believe In You," "You're My Best Friend," "It Must Be Love" and "Lord I Hope This Day Is Good." He won the CMA Award for "Male Vocalist Of The Year" in 1978 and also appeared in the films "W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings" and "Smokey And The Bandit 2."
