Olivia Lunny

Canadian singer/songwriter Olivia Lunny delivers an infectious breed of Alt-Pop, distinct and charged with incredible depth. After taking up guitar and writing her first song at the age of 12, the Winnipeg native soon ascended to national fame, earning a Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Pop Artist of the Year when she was 17 and scoring a Top 40 hit in 2019 with her magnetic single "I Got You." With her recent milestones including opening for R&B legend Lionel Richie, the 21-year-old artist is now set to share a body of work that spotlights her sharply detailed lyrics and spellbinding vocal presence like never before.
As she embarks on a whole new era in her artistry, Lunny reveals the refined musicality she first began cultivating as a little girl and later showcased in performing to a crowd of 40,000 at the Winnipeg Folk Festival at age 14. Not long after the arrival of her independently released self-titled debut EP (a 2018 effort that led to her WCMA nomination), Lunny brought her electrifying live performance to high-profile events like WE Day in both Winnipeg and Ottawa, as well as her opening slot for Lionel Richie at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.
In her latest batch of material, Lunny explores her experiences navigating the uncertain waters of adulthood and balancing love with heartbreak. High-energy but intensely vulnerable, Lunny’s brightly textured approach to Pop unfolds with an unguarded intimacy, and never fails to preserve the raw emotion of her heart-on-sleeve songwriting.
