Allen Stone
May 3, 2015
After creating a huge buzz in the clubs with his first two self-released, 28 year-old Washington-bred Allen Stone is about to release his major label debut album via Capitol Records on May 26th. Entitled "Radius", the new album will be a collaboration with Swedish soul singer-songwriter Magnus Tingsek. Stone's latest collection of songs capture the warm energy of that creative connection and transport the listener to a higher and more exalted plane. The lead single from the forthcoming album is "Freedom".
Stone has self-released two records, "Last To Speak" in 2010 and the self-titled "Allen Stone" in 2011. On "Allen Stone", he was backed by Raphael Saadiq's rhythm section and Miles Davis' keyboardist Deron Johnson and some tracks that were co-written with Andy Grammer.
