American Authors

"Go Big Or Go Home" is the latest single released by the Brooklyn-based group, American Authors. Over a high-key assortment of claps, shouts and pounding drums, this song is a well-thought out anthem. It is the first track released from their upcoming second studio album due out this fall via Republic Records.
This brand-new single got plenty of exposure in the promos for the NBA Playoffs and Finals. But ironically, lead singer Zac Barnett admits that he doesn't really know the first thing about basketball.
"I couldn't tell you too many facts about basketball," Zac tells ABC Radio. "My mom's a huge fan and our drummer Matt is a huge fan, so they're really excited about it...along with us too. It's always fun to hear your songs in commercials, especially a song this new and this fresh."
After meeting each other while attending the Berklee College of Music in 2006, Zac Barnett, James Adam Shelley, Dave Rublin and Matt Sanchez began writing and recording music. American Authors are best known for their singles "Best Day of My Life" and "Believer" from their debut studio album "Oh, What a Life".
This August, American Authors will join Andy Grammer for two weeks of shows beginning August 2 in Birmingham, Alabama.
