"Don't Wanna Know" is the hot new single from the sultry pop rock group, Maroon 5 via Interscope Records. In the accompanied music video, the band dresses up in Pokémon-like costumes while they are repeatedly chased by obsessive teens on their phones trying to "catch" a shot. The metaphor here illustrates what it must be like to live as a celebrity; always running from the media. You can see many guest appearances from other noted celebrities including Shaq, Sarah Silverman, Vince Vaughn, and Ed Helms.
The official group, Maroon 5 was established in Los Angeles, California in 2001. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, lead guitarist James Valentine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, drummer Matt Flynn and keyboardist PJ Morton.
