New Ways To Lessen The Burden To Create - And Compete - With Video

With advancements in tech - it continues to become easier to create more competent social media video posts and ads that convert.
It was only a couple years ago where we needed someone with decent video skills to help edit a Facebook video promoting our brand or to transform audio to video in order to effectively market a podcast.
But OMNY and a few other platforms stepped up and made the audio to video conversion seamless (and much more appealing) to consume in social News Feeds.
And now, while Facebook is always rolling out new content creation features, their latest one really helps brands that do not have access nor the means to a full on video pro compete.
In a recent blog post, Facebook calls this feature "Create to Convert."
Facebook is serious about video as their own studies continue to show it's the more powerful type of content to involve (and convert) the audience.
So keeping smaller staffed brands in mind - everyone can now move beyond still image posts and animate still images, creating a much more compelling video.
There are four different types of ads that can be built in "Create to Convert."
- Basic motion: This is where you will be able to animate your still images and include a call-to-action to drive your desired business outcome.
- Brand in motion: Your brand or logo can be brought to life in a few seconds to promote brand recognition and drive action.
- Benefit in motion: Showcase the key benefit or message of your brand; this could be a special offer or discount, a testimonial or product variety. Highlighting the benefit will illuminate the value to your audience, enabling them to take the next step toward conversion.
- Demo in motion: Focus on demonstrating how your app, website, smart speaker skill, service, product or feature works. Show the audience how to navigate your offerings and include a call-to-action at the end to take action right from your ad.
You can watch video examples of these types of ads here.
With social platforms putting a larger emphasis on people connecting with people, and not necessarily with brands - it's important to learn all the tools we have at our disposal to create inexpensive ads for our brands to compete and to be seen.
