ENVISION RADIO NETWORKS' "THE CHOP SHOP GUITAR SHOW" host and GREATER MEDIA Rock WRIF/DETROIT personality STEVE BLACK logged the 800th interview of his professional radio career recently with a chat with SCOTT GORHAM and DAMON JOHNSON of THIN LIZZY, which will air on "CHOP SHOP CLASSIC" the week f DECEMBER 26th. In 25 years, BLACK has interviewed many of the biggest names in rock, including METALLICA's JAMES HETFIELD, BEATLES producer GEORGE MARTIN, guitar legend LES PAUL, and many more, including an interview with PAUL RODGERS at this SUMMER's CONCLAVE LEARNING CONFERENCE in MINNEAPOLIS.
BLACK said, "I think the interviews that stick with you most are from the artists who are no longer with us. I did one of the last in-depth interviews with LES PAUL. I spoke with JOHN ENTWISTLE, RICHARD WRIGHT, GARY MOORE and many others before they passed away. I probably treasure those recordings the most."
