CLARK HOWARD tells the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION's RODNEY HO that he will be cutting the live portion of his radio show back from three to two hours, effective DECEMBER 15th. HOWARD is syndicated by DIAL GLOBAL and based at COX MEDIA GROUP Talk WSB-A-WSBB/ATLANTA; the third hour of his syndicated show will include repeats repackaged for the purpose. “I think it’s better for listeners and it’s certainly better for me,” HOWARD told HO. “It’s an election-year cycle and talk radio is now so political. I’m just ready to not work quite as much.”
On WSB, HOWARD's decision means that PREMIERE's SEAN HANNITY will move up an hour to a live clearance 3-6p (ET), with the local ERICK ERICKSON show moving up to 6-9p and the third hour of HOWARD's show (the "best of") airing 9-10p.
