According to THE TENNESSEAN, 64 claimants have accepted INDIANA's settlement offers over the INDIANA STATE FAIR stage collapse on AUGUST 13th. Only one claimant did not accept the offer, which was less than $1,700 to an injured minor.
The stage collapse took place before MERCURY NASHVILLE duo SUGARLAND was set to go on stage.
The settlements are reported to total $5 million, the maximum under INDIANA law. Among the claimants were the estates of seven people who died in the collapse; each estate received more than $300,000.
