KIRO Sets Holiday Programming

BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL Talk KIRO/SEATTLE will involve many of their on-air personalities in special holiday programming, set to debut on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23rd.
TERRY JAYMES and media critic TOM TANGNEY will count down their 10 favorite holiday movies in the "TERRY JAYMES Alive CHRISTMAS Special" on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23rd from 7-8p. Bowling for Soup front man JARET REDDICK will also be there to cite his all-time favorite CHRISTMAS songs.
Morning host BILL RADKE will also host his own "Treatment CHRISTMAS Special," where he will reminisce with RACHEL BELLE and TONY MINER from the RON and DON Show, and co-host LINDA THOMAS on the best CHRISTMAS gifts they ever received. The "BILL RADKE Treatment Christmas Special" airs FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23 from 6-7p.Morning show co-host LINDA THOMAS will host "A Very Special KIRO CHRISTMAS Music Special," which will feature CHRISTMAS classics from BING CROSBY, NAT KING COLE and THE BEVERLY SISTERS, as well as contemporary versions from RELIENT K, MICHAEL BUBLE and HOUSE OF HEROES will also air during the special on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23rd from 9-10p.
THOMAS will also host "A Very Special KIRO CHRISTMAS" featuring CHRISTMAS and holiday stories, reports and tips from RON and DON, RACHEL BELLE, SEATTLE’s Morning News, Geekwire and a special performance by singer/songwriter JACE EVERETT. This special will air FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23rd from 8-9p.
All of these shows will be replayed on SATURDAY and SUNDAY.
"These programs are designed as special gifts for our listeners," KIRO PD LARRY GIFFORD said. "Our personalities share holiday stories, traditions and some of their favorite holiday tunes in hopes of making the holidays warm, bright and uplifting for all who listen."
