IQ 106.9/Philadelphia Sets Rush Limbaugh Premiere For June 25th

MERLIN MEDIA made the official announcement of the pending arrival of PREMIERE NETWORKS' RUSH LIMBAUGH to the lineup at Talk WWIQ (!Q 106.9)/PHILADELPHIA official TODAY (6/10), setting the date for JUNE 25th.

LIMBAUGH's debut on IQ 106.9 has been delayed while the station awaits the expiration of PREMIERE's contract with crosstown CBS RADIO Talk WPHT-A.  

A rotation of guest hosts, including former TOWNSQUARE Talk WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON personalities MICHELLE JERSON, CASEY BARTHOLOMEW, and JAY SORENSEN, PHILADELPHIA market veteran JERRY BLAVAT, and IQ 106.9 morning co-host LARRY MENDTE's wife, former FOX O&O WTXF-TV (FOX 29) anchor DAWN STENSLAND, have been hosting the noon-3p slot, holding it open while awaiting LIMBAUGH's arrival.
